Woking Borough Council has a number of exciting opportunities within its expert and well respected In-House Legal team to support the Council’s functions and services.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Housing Lawyer to play a key role in our team.
We are looking for a Housing Lawyer to carry a varied caseload in all areas of Housing work as required including possession proceedings, disrepair claims, anti-social behaviour matters, applications for injunctions and private sector housing matters.
You should be proactive, confident, organised and be able to work on your own initiative. You should be able to manage a busy workload to tight deadlines.
You will support the Head of Legal Services and the Strategic Director Governance and Corporate Services to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective Legal service to the Council, as well as supporting lawyers in handling cases.
