About You 

We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic person, who is ready for a new challenge to help us take our team and processes to the next level.  It is essential that you are qualified to AAT level as a minimum, or equivalent, and have a good eye for detail.  You will have public sector experience, and ideally a good understanding of Treasury and Capital accounting practices in the public sector.    

About the Role 

This is an exciting role in a small but busy finance team, working within our Technical Accounting team to deliver the accountancy functions in relation to the Council’s capital and treasury activities. You will provide a comprehensive professional and general financial advisory service to all on officers on capital and treasury matters. In addition, you will develop appropriate strategies that support the Councils longer term plans.  Note that this role will principally focus on Treasury Management.
