Senior Countryside Warden
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to our newly vacant Senior Countryside Warden post within our Countryside Team. This role consists of a wide range of tasks across Guildford Borough’s countryside estate, including three green flag award winning countryside sites, wetland, chalk downs, woodland, heathland, SANG sites and various other habitats. You will be responsible for ensuring the sites are managed effectively by enhancing, protecting, and conserving the natural environment. You will also work alongside our regular volunteer groups such as Butterfly Conservation.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can lead a strong team as well as being able to use their own initiative. You should be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a strong customer focus.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in Countryside management and using associated equipment. You must be physically capable of carrying out this role.
Interviews will be held week commencing 12th December.
Successful Interviewees will be invited to a practical assessment.
