The starting salary for this position is £20,999 per annum based on a 30 hour working week, across 39 weeks per year (term-time). This is pro-rata to £29,291.

All roles are term-time only and fixed term for 12 months in the first instance. We are able to consider reduced hours, subject to discussion and service requirement.

We currently have roles available in North East, South West and North West Surrey and successful candidates will be required to travel extensively around the specified area: 

  • North East: Epsom and Ewell, Spelthorne and Elmbridge with office based in Esher
  • North West: Woking, Surrey Heath and Runnymede with office based in Woking
  • South West: Guildford and Waverley with office based in Woking

You must therefore have a full driving licence and the use of a car. 

The Access to Education (A2E) Service is looking to expand our student support team. The A2E Service is a dynamic, interim service that supports children and young people with additional needs, who are not accessing their full statutory entitlement of education. Many of our students have complex SEN needs, mental wellbeing issues and/or challenging behaviour.   

We are currently recruiting experienced and creative Higher Level Education Assistants to provide individual and small group teaching to students aged 5-16, who are out of school. Our current pupil needs include SEMH, ASD, ADHD, PDA, SLD, SpLD, LAN.

If you have substantial experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, and excellent IT skills (with knowledge and experience of using a Virtual Learning Environment) we would welcome your application. Experience of teaching a range of complex SEN is essential. ELSA and/or EBSNA training/experience would also be helpful.
