About the Role
This is an exciting and rewarding role which provides the Council with competent health and safety advice covering all of its operations and activities, including potentially one day a week providing the same support for neighbouring Tandridge District Council.
About the Person
The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent knowledge of current occupational health and safety legislation and experience of applying it in the workplace;
• Experience of managing health and safety in a large, multi-activity organisation;
• Experience of accident investigation;
• Great communication skills;
• A collaborative and supportive approach;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills; and,
• Strong IT skills and be able to produce clear reports, policy and procedure documents.
