This is a new role within the Housing and Neighbourhood Services Team so we are looking for a highly motivated individual to establish and make a success of this post.

 

Runnymede Borough Council is a stock retained authority and the postholder will be responsible for overseeing the management of stock in the South of the Borough, which includes general needs stock, Independent Retirement Living stock, temporary accommodation and the management of leaseholders. The postholder will line manage two Area Housing Managers to provide frontline housing management services, including income collection and general tenancy management. You will performance manage these activities as well as provide a hands on resource to ensure compliance with performance targets and timescales. You will also specialise in the management of estates and caretaking services and be responsible for line managing our team of three caretaking staff.

 

We are seeking a motivated, resilient and flexible person to join our team. You will need to have a CIH qualification or equivalent and experience of working with tenants and dealing with a variety of tenancy related issues as well as experience of line management and performance monitoring.
