An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our busy Commercial Environmental Health Team.

We are seeking a fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioner, (EHORB registered) and have track record of relevant experience of working in food enforcement. Applicants working towards EHORB registration or hold a Higher Certificate in Food Control will be considered. Additional relevant qualifications would be advantageous.

This role will include carrying out a full range of food safety inspections, investigation of food complaints, investigations into infectious diseases, the investigation of statutory nuisance from commercial premises and health and safety regulation. You will therefore need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work well on your own initiative and prioritise your workload.

You will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use in order to attend site visits.
