As a Senior Officer you will be acting as part of the day to day Management of the service giving advice on a day to day basis and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and with a high level of accuracy. E.g. ensuring telephone, email and other communication channels are adequately covered. That reminders are issued in accordance with the timetable etc. You will have an in depth knowledge of revenues in particular Business Rate and BID`S, as well as other systems operating in customer services, offering guidance and support to both staff and Senior Officers.
This is a key role within Customer Services requiring the ability to communicate effectively with officers, managers and customers. You will oversee the more technical and complex aspects of billing, collection and recovery of NNDR – Including main billing, refunds and transitional relief and other reliefs.
