We are looking for well-organised, self-motivated, strong team player, who has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, to join our busy Customer Services team. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates and Sales Ledger Sundry Debts adhering to corporate policies on collection and customer care. As part of the role you will act as the initial point of contact for customer enquiries and provide high level of customer services to members of the public and staff.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with good numeracy are necessary to deal with internal and external queries. In addition experience in an appropriate customer orientated environment is essential as well as working on a variety of IT systems.
This is an opportunity to learn and develop a broad knowledge of skills and gain experience within a busy public sector environment.
