The Royal Borough of Kingston has recently adopted a Corporate Plan that places the well being of our communities at the heart of the delivery of new affordable housing, commercial and employment floorspace. The Plan recognises that growth cannot just be about homes and physical infrastructure and needs to include a focus on education, skills and jobs so that residents can benefit from a growing economy. The Regeneration & Economy team has been established to deliver on these on these Corporate Plan priorities and we are looking for talented and enthusiastic programme leads with initiative and delivery experience to join our growing Regeneration team to deliver our exciting and diverse opportunities.
Working to the Corporate Head of Service, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to develop and deepen the Council’s economic partnerships and deliver innovative paths for service delivery with an emphasis on enabling. Key also will be the ability to deliver the projects and programmes set out in the borough’s Economic Growth & Development Strategy 2018-25, with a strategic focus on the delivery of affordable employment space, capitalising on business successes and the application of SMART CITY principles to promote employment growth.
