Do you have experience in project management and want the opportunity to help shape how an organisation expands and develops?

This role will be part of the Strategy and Business Management function of Joint Waste Solutions (JWS), the team that delivers recycling improvement work on behalf of a partnership that includes all of Surrey’s councils and manages a £13.5m waste and street cleaning collection contract on behalf of four partners.

You will play a key role in developing our organisation, including helping to manage our programme of work and associated governance and decision making processes. You will work closely with other teams in JWS to manage a broad range of projects, including those focused around our people and culture, and will help ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing projects and knowledge of project management tools and techniques. You’ll also have the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, get to grips with new areas of work quickly, and develop proposals for improving systems and processes.
