Do you have experience working in a marketing communications role and an interest in tackling environmental issues?

This role will provide support for the communications and engagement function at Joint Waste Solutions, the team that delivers recycling improvement work on behalf of a partnership that includes all of Surrey’s councils and manages a £13.5m waste and street cleaning collection contract on behalf of four partners.

You will be managing audience databases and arranging distribution of campaign materials, as well as undertaking social and digital media monitoring and activity. You’ll also do some copy writing, desk research, booking advertising and creating short videos for use online and through social media.

The successful candidate have experience of working in an office environment, using digital and social media channels and undertaking research. You’ll be a good written and verbal communicator as well as having good administrative and organisational skills.
