We are currently looking for a flexible team player to join our committed and friendly team who deliver transport; meals at home and community alarm to the frail, elderly and disabled residents within the borough. The role is casual and can change week by week, you may be asked to provide cover for sickness and annual leave.
This casual role involves driving our fleet of transport vehicles, collecting payments and completing appropriate paperwork. A clean driving licence is essential.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of our older clients. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required and you must be able to lift safely. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, possess a “can do” attitude and show a commitment to customer service.
This post is subject to a Criminal Records check processed by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). A D1 Classification or PSV licence is desirable but not essential for this role.
