About the Role

At Surrey County Council we are looking to recruit to our successful in house legal team. We have an exciting opportunity within our adults, education, litigation and employment team for a Team Lawyer. This key post within the team is expected to cover a workload of predominantly civil litigation, primarily debt recovery and property litigation, and to assist with regulatory criminal case work where required. We are looking for a flexible, motivated and ambitious individual to join our progressive service, which has been working in partnership with legal services in Brighton & Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council and West Sussex County Council as Orbis Public Law.
