£33,665 per annum for 36 hours per week based at County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 2DN.

We are looking for an individual to join and consolidate our successful and fast growing in-house property legal team.
You will be flexible, motivated and ambitious to join the team, which has been working in partnership with legal services in Brighton & Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council and West Sussex County Council as Orbis Public Law.

You will be able to contribute to the future delivery of a first class legal service across the partnership. Although working for the partnership you will be employed by Surrey County Council.

You’ll need to be passionate about working as part of a team that delivers timely, clear and effective legal advice in respect of real property, mainly commercial. You will hold a quality caseload of full and varied matters relevant to property.
To be successful you must also be:
- a qualified solicitor or barrister with some experience of working in property law
- strong team player
- computer literate
- have good drafting and research skills
