This is an 18 month fixed term contract.

About the Role
Do you have a creative spark and a hunger for all things social media? Are you looking to kick-start your career with an apprenticeship to gain both a qualification and experience?
A perfect opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking apprentice to join our Recruitment Team at Surrey County Council. With social media being fundamental to the way we recruit, we are keen to continue building knowledge within the team and working on new and thought-provoking ways of recruiting talent.
The Recruitment Team work hard to deliver excellent customer service in everything we do and with that we are a team of positive, friendly individuals who all strive to work as one team to achieve our goals. Working as part of the advisory team, you will report to our Social Digital Media Recruitment Specialist who will support you on your apprenticeship journey and who will also share a passion for all things social media and digital. Your work will support us in delivering our creative and exciting Social Media Strategy.
The apprenticeship aspect of the role will see you gaining knowledge on how to design and build digital campaigns and how to use social media platforms to both attract and engage customers. We will then support you in bringing your new found knowledge back to the office where you can assist us day to day in helping create social media posts and communicating to our hiring managers regarding content and information on their team vacancies.
Whilst experience in social media and digital isn’t essential to the position, we are looking for our new apprentice to have a passion for social media and an eager attitude for continuous learning.
