As a result of the ongoing development within the Community Services business centre, an opportunity has become available for a Senior Community Services Administrator. You will be responsible for supervising a small administration team, as well as providing support, information and advice to colleagues within the Community Services team as well as to some of the most vulnerable residents of the Borough.
Based at the Civic Centre, you will primarily be the point of contact for residents, their families, voluntary and community sector organisations, Adult Social Care and health professionals on the Community Alarm & Telecare, Home Improvement Agency and other community services provided by Runnymede Borough Council and Surrey Heath Borough Council. This part of the role will involve the receipt of enquiries, referrals for services, calls from residents or their family to end to end service, as well as requests for support from service users.
In providing this service, you will also act as the link between the person contacting the service and the operational teams and partner borough councils, providing services out in the local community and also other statutory services. Therefore you will need to have a strong team ethic and work well with others.
In leading the administration team, you will have responsibility of the undertaking of staff 1-2-1, appraisals and the provision of other senior support to the Community Services Administrators, as well as ensuring effective procedures and ways of working are implemented and consistently worked to.
