We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join a small team of committed staff at the Eileen Tozer Social Centre for Older People in Addlestone, on a temporary basis.

 

The center provides a high quality service for older people including the provision of a hot, traditionally cooked midday meal along with a variety of social activities. The key duties of this post holder will include assisting service users to access facilities when required, therefore you will need to have well developed people skills and have previous experience of working with older people is desirable.   Also, encouraging centre users to participate and engage in some of the recreational activities organised at the centre.

 

You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in order to undertake administrative duties as delegated by the Centre Manager or Deputy.

The ideal candidate will possess a caring, patient and empathetic nature and have the ability to be flexible when required. You will also be expected to attend other RBC Day Centres as required in order to ensure full service delivery can be maintained.

 

This post holder will also be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
