We are seeking an organised and committed Housing Risk Management Officer to work within the busy Maintenance Services Team. You will have responsibility for playing a key part in the Council’s risk and assurance processes under the supervision of the Senior Contracts Manager. This role requires knowledge and understanding of the statutory regulations that apply to the maintenance of Council stock.
The role will include: leading on Risk Management and Assurance; preparing reports for the Technical Services Manager and the Housing Management Team; developing and maintaining a robust Risk and Assurance register; ensuring compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing’s regulations and standards and HSE regulation; leading on monitoring of contractor H&S compliance; liaising with internal auditors to ensure audits are carried out and findings implemented in a timely manner.
Your ability to work independently and to deadlines will be key to managing your responsibilities. You will also have opportunity to participate in team and corporate projects.
