Senior Occupational Therapist

The salary range for this role is £41,000 to £50,000 per annum based on a 30 hour working week, pro rata for part time.

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? Princess Alice Hospice is seeking a compassionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Hospice at Home team, supporting patients with specialist palliative care in their own homes.

About the Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Assess and manage a specialist community caseload.
• Deliver personalised occupational therapy interventions.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and a rehabilitative approach to care.
• Work closely with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Recommend and review specialist equipment to support safe care at home.
• Contribute to education, audit and service development activities.

To succeed as a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Community and multidisciplinary team experience.
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Experience in palliative care, oncology or neurology is desirable.PDF type
