Property Services Manager
Lead Repairs, Damp & Mould, and Disrepair Services – With a Strong Focus on Outcomes for Residents
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Services Manager to lead our repairs, damp and mould, and disrepair services. This role is critical in ensuring our tenants and leaseholders receive a high‑quality, customer‑focused service that prioritises safety, wellbeing, and excellent standards of delivery.
As Property Services Manager, you will be responsible for driving robust performance across your service areas, providing clear leadership to internal teams and contractors, and ensuring all works are completed efficiently, effectively, and with a strong emphasis on resident satisfaction. You will also oversee contract management, ensuring compliance, value for money, and continuous improvement in service quality.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering positive outcomes for residents, confident in managing complex property-related issues, and able to influence performance through strong leadership and accountability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the repairs, damp & mould, and disrepair functions
- Ensuring a proactive, resident‑centred approach with clear outcomes
- Managing and holding contractors to account through strong contract management
- Driving performance improvement and robust service delivery standards
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and best practice
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

From April 2027, Guildford Borough Council and Waverley Borough Council will become part of the new West Surrey unitary council, following the government’s confirmed plans for local government reorganisation across Surrey. This change will see the current twelve councils replaced by two new authorities, East Surrey and West Surrey, with West Surrey taking responsibility for the areas currently served by Guildford, Waverley, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath and Woking.
