Tandridge District Council is looking for a number of enthusiastic and creative problem solvers to join our Case Services Team.
It’s an exciting time to join the team at Tandridge District Council. We have just completed an ambitious transformation project, changing the way we work and using the best technology to deliver services in a way our customers find easy to use.
Preferably you will have experience of working in an office environment, customer services or contact centre. Our aim is to develop a team of multi-skilled Case Officers delivering a high degree of resilience across all themes:
- Resident Support
- Business and Income
We are therefore particularly keen to receive applications from candidates with a background in Planning Enforcement to work within the Regulatory theme or with experience in a Housing and Council Tax Benefit within Resident Support.
Case Services manage the vast majority of case work ensuing that the Council provides excellent integrated services to customers, focussing on their needs through a single point of contact. They work closely with both the Locality Services and Specialist Services
To succeed, you will need to be committed to the delivery of excellent customer service, resourceful and flexible in your approach and have a willingness to take ownership of cases, to see them through to a successful conclusion. You will have excellent communication skills, be a good organiser, have an eye for detail, and the ability to use initiative and creativity to solve challenging problems.
The appointment of posts will be made between TA2 (£24,344 - £27,993) and M1 (£28,681 - £33,177) and therefore applicants must demonstrate that they meet at least TA2 as described in the Role Specifications. We have full and part time roles available so please state in your application your preferred number of hours per week.
