We are looking to recruit two new team members, one full-time to work 37 hours a week and the other part-time, 18.5 hours a week. The part-time vacancy is a job share therefore the days required for working are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The Planning Administration team provide support to the professional staff in Planning and Building control who work with exciting and high profile new developments in the Borough. The successful candidates will be dealing with Planning queries, plans and be required to effectively manage information that comes into the department. You will therefore be required to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be proficient in using Microsoft IT packages.
You will need confidence the ability to build relationships and have a positive can do attitude demonstrating initiative to find solutions. Experience of reading planning drawings and/or technical documents would be an advantage but not essential training will be given. You should be able to give clear accurate information, have good self-presentation and be well organised.
