Vac Description

Sutton College is urgently seeking a dynamic and experienced Counselling Tutor who can teach L3 Counselling studies (BACP) for a current cohort. We are very interested in tutors who are able to support students to:

Take the initial steps in professional counsellor training to specialise whether in the voluntary, statutory or private sectorsLearn how essential theoretical concepts are proving to be in their own client work
Prepare for work as a professional counsellor in an agency setting


Qualifications


You should have a passion for teaching, good subject knowledge, and a desire to develop pre-practitioner training for future counselling professionals. Professional counselling experience is preferred, and a minimum level 3 teaching qualification is essential (or the willingness to work towards one). Qualified at Level 4 or above in CPCAB Therapeutic Counselling or its
equivalent


Online – Mondays 18:30-21:30 - Start date ASAP
