An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Environmental Health Officer/Senior Environmental Health Officer to join our busy Environmental Health Team. We are a small, friendly Local Authority ideally located in attractive north-west Surrey and within easy access of London.

We are seeking a fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioner (EHORB registered) with a minimum of two years post qualification experience. Additional relevant qualifications would be an advantage.

Duties of the role will include regulatory enforcement work in relation to health and safety, skin piercing registration, animal welfare licensing, private water supplies and day to day oversight of the contract for environmental crime enforcement officers (litter & dog fouling). Therefore you will need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to problem solve and prioritise.

You will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use for travel across sites. This post holder will have access to government databases therefore a BPSS check will be taken up for the successful candidate.
