Guildford Borough Council has been on a journey but an amazing journey and we are looking for an exceptional Finance Specialist to continue that improvement.

You will  work with some amazing people but we also need you to train, learn and develop within finance team.

Guildford Borough Council provides a unique opportunity for you as we are financially robust and working in collaboration with Waverley Borough Council 

The job will involve all aspects of budget preparation, budget monitoring, closing the accounts, as well as supporting other team members in day to day activities.  

You must be able to demonstrate you have strong analytical skills and are able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation. 

Local government experience is a preferred although exceptional candidates without LG experience will be considered. You must have AAT, be studying or prepared to study.
