As our environmental service area at Guildford Borough Council continues to develop, we are seeking to recruit a new member to the team to assist with fleet and transport compliance. If you have a qualification in road haulage, experience in a front-line service operation and the ability to develop strong customer relations, we’d love to hear from you.

This is an exciting critical role, which will assist the team in maintaining a compliant fleet for the service area, while at the same time review and streamline our processes, through optimising digital technologies. Equipped with industry knowledge and an analytical approach, you will strengthen and uphold our legislative and internal standards.

You will lead on and develop internal compliance audits for the service area, identifying areas of risk and areas for improvement, and implementing the required actions. This role will also be responsible for the introductions of KPi’s for the service area, facilitating metrics to support a positive customer experience.
