Our green spaces, commons and cemeteries are highly treasured by our residents. This is your chance to take guardianship of these much-loved facilities that are such an important part of Elmbridge life.

And what a team! You will be working with a determined and committed group, passionate about protecting and enhancing the green spaces, cemeteries and commons in Elmbridge. They know the value of these spaces to our residents, especially our most vulnerable residents.

Working within the Green Spaces Team you will undertake practical management and estate maintenance duties.   

A skilled ranger with enthusiasm for minor maintenance works.

An enthusiastic individual is sought for an immediate start. You have experience of the maintenance of green spaces and minor practical works, but you will also have the ability to self-manage your workload with guidance; ensuring the residents of Elmbridge are best served at all times.

You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of,

  • Minor maintenance and improvements work of a practical nature such as installation and repairs of fencing and posts, cleansing works and installation and repair of outdoor furniture.
  • being highly organised and skilled in prioritising, reporting and undertaking works in a systematic manner.
  • working with a team and alone.
  • and of innovation and creativity in the delivery of services.
