This is an exciting time to join Waverley Borough Council playing a key role in supporting the most senior management in the newly created Joint Leadership Team working in collaboration with Guildford Borough Council.

You will enjoy working at pace, be highly organised and have excellent communication and customer care skills. You will have a meticulous eye for detail, be great at prioritising, and have an ambitious and proactive approach to your work. As an experienced Executive Assistant, you will be expected to act as the “right-hand” to Waverley and Guildford’s Corporate Leadership Team.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Executive Assistant, who is accustomed to supporting Senior Level Executives.

We are recruiting for one part-time position, 18.5 hours per week. However, we do also offer flexible working patterns, which may include Mondays and Fridays.

This is a hybrid role, with a combination of office and home working.  There will be a requirement to attend the offices at either Guildford or Godalming on some days as agreed with your manager.

Salary range: £20,371 - £21,886 per annum, £40,742 - £43,773 FTE (subject to pay review in April 2025).
