About the role

The Senior Green Spaces Officer shall

  • Identify and prioritise projects which will improve and maintain the facilities and biodiversity of our parks and greenspaces
  • Collaboratively deliver these projects in a sustainable and innovative way
  • with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Keeping within budget
  • Whilst also managing events within them
  • And at all times ensuring health and safety is being followed

About you

  • We are looking for someone with a land / grounds management, conservation or horticulture related qualification
  • With Good knowledge and a passion for the management and improvement of green spaces
  • Experience in countryside management
  • Experience in working with and supervising volunteers
  • Knowledge of different types of funding
  • And Budget management
