About the role

Want to learn new skills in a role central to demonstrating our compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements?

Covering the postholder’s maternity leave, the successful candidate will lead the production and regular review of a suite of strategies, policies and procedures; and monitor and evaluate the outcome of the services we provide.  

Runnymede Borough Council’s Housing Service is serious about continuous service improvements and you will contribute to this through analysis of complaints and other feedback, benchmarking, research and consultation. You will be a team player and excellent communicator. 

About you

Regulatory Consumer Standards and the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code have been strengthened, so the role would suit someone who:

  • cares about further improving the Council’s Housing services - but you don’t need to have worked in Housing before
  • has excellent written, oral and digital communication skills, able to produce reports, policies and procedures
  • prides themselves on their accuracy and attention to detail
  • has good interpersonal skills
  • has experience of developing positive relationships while working collaboratively across busy teams and projects.
