- Are you interested in starting a career in the digital world?

- Are you looking for an exciting role working across a broad spectrum of projects and duties?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our new Digital Team!

Over the last few years Waverley has been on a digital transformation journey with the implementation of a low-code platform for developing online forms and digital services, bringing a range of our services online and improving customer experience, allowing customers access to council services at a time and place that works for them.

As part of the next step on that journey we are forming a dedicated digital team to support the organisation moving forward in this critical space. This role is a crucial part of the team, helping support your digital colleagues with a diverse range of duties, and the delivery of the Council’s digital strategy.

As customer experience is a core focus for this team, you will be supporting the day-to-day operation of digital solutions, such as the main council website, and assisting internal customers and services with enquiries. As well as this, you will be working on a variety of projects, supporting your digital colleagues with the design, development, testing and implementation of digital solutions across the organisation.

This is an exciting time in the development of the service and is a real opportunity to be part of shaping how the council moves forward in the digital sphere.

There are many benefits of working at Waverley Borough Council. In particular we are very supportive of flexible and agile working, we provide flexitime, and have generous leave entitlements, including an additional three days off when the office is closed between Christmas and New Year. We also have a range of learning and development services to support your career goals.

This is a hybrid role.

The role is part time, 30 hours per week.
