HOUSING DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

About the role

This role is  responsible for taking forward the direct provision of new Council homes, but also expanding the overall Affordable Homes Programme through a range of partnership initiatives and development partners.

About you

The ideal candidate for the role will bring commitment, enthusiasm, knowledge and practical experience across the affordable housing, and development agenda  To be successful in this role you will ideally have a Housing or Building qualification, with a successful track record of excellent performance and delivery.

A clear understanding of section 106 challenges, appraisal processes, knowledge of HRA and external funding options, excellent verbal and report writing skills are also key to this role.
