Guildford and Waverley are working in collaboration to provide better sustainable local services and protect them for the future. At the heart of this is the ambition to ensure that we continue to improve, be fiscally efficient and contribute to the net carbon strategy we have set. The local government sector is experiencing a difficult fiscal landscape, our partnership will assist by providing efficiency and collaboration opportunities . At the heart of our values are collaboration, value for money and professionalism.  We are now seeking two exceptional individuals to complete our Joint Management Team at Assistant Director level.

This is a new post, responsible for the efficient delivery of democratic and elections services across both boroughs.  You will drive improvements in service efficiency and quality, developing colleagues and identifying opportunities for collaboration and change. 

One of your first tasks will be to establish the newly approved Joint Governance team, ensuring strong governance structures are in place across both councils.
