Salary: £33,408 - £36,540
Basis: 2 year Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
We are an ambitious Council committed to delivering great places for our residents, stakeholders and businesses.
We already have an enviable track record of doing this with a long list of successful place shaping projects as part of our place delivery programmes.
However, we want to do much more. We want to build more homes, revitalise our town centres and we want to provide the infrastructure that our residents and businesses need – everything from quality community facilities to flagship open spaces.
To achieve this, we’re looking for a Development Officer to join our Place Delivery service, with the skills, interest and enthusiasm to help deliver our projects and shape what comes next.
About the Person
We are seeking a candidate that:
• Has experience of working on placemaking, regeneration, development or capital projects.
• Is committed to working collaboratively, with other service areas and external partners.
• Has a passion for place transformation and wants to make a difference.
• Has a can do approach and is interested in expanding their experience and developing their career.
