Digital Customer Experience and Website Manager

Are you able to use your knowledge and experience to draw insight about how we can work differently to improve the council’s digital services?

Would you like an opportunity to make your mark and help the council achieve its digital first ambitions?

With demonstrable experience of managing an organisation’s website, you will be able to articulate our vision for the website and work with a network of web editors to manage the council’s web content, helping ensure customers are able to self-serve and access key information about council services and initiatives.

You will need to have excellent customer care skills, an adaptable approach, and the ability to communicate well with a range of stakeholders to deliver objectives. You will be able to champion and grow support for themes such as the voice of the customer and digital accessibility, with a view to improving website usability, engagement in self-service solutions and cohesion between the council’s digital platforms.

We are looking for someone who is a team player, working across the council to ensure the provision of a modern and efficient website which meets digital accessibility requirements and supports our digital first approach. You will be able to apply your knowledge and insight, reviewing feedback and statistics to help identify and act on opportunities for improvement.

You will also be able to successfully manage projects to deliver work, influencing others to help you achieve your goals and support key themes.

Please note this role includes some limited out of hours work to ensure the website, as our digital front door, is updated in response to emergencies or key events.

This is a full-time role. However, all applications will be considered.
