What is the NGDP?
Employed on a 2 year fixed term contract, you will complete a minimum of 3 placements across key areas of the Council. You will gain insight into the front line, operational delivery and corporate management of Council services giving you a broad understanding of Local Government and hands on experience to develop your leadership skills.

Eligibility
To apply, you will need to have achieved a 2.2 undergraduate degree by summer 2019 and be eligible to work and remain in the UK.
Useful information
It is important to note that this is a national scheme for which you can apply direct to Woking Borough Council or nationally (which means you can apply to work at any of the participating councils) however, you can only apply once each year.

Once you have submitted your application, you will recieve a link from the NGDP with instructions to complete their gamified online tests. There are four in total measuring verbal, numeracy and logic reasoning skills and your understanding of the key behaviours (refer to attached document). This is designed to be a fun and interactive way to assess your match with the scheme. Tests must be completed no later than Tuesday 15 January 2019.
