An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, confident individual with a can-do attitude, to join our busy and enthusiastic communications team.
You will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of communications skills and experience of building effective and productive working relationships with senior managers, councillors and other stakeholders.
You will support the team to develop a wide range of communication and engagement activities, creating and maintaining digital content for web, intranet (Sharepoint) and social media.
You need to have an excellent standard of written English, an eye for detail, initiative and the willingness to take personal responsibility to ensure tasks are completed.
You will have the ability to work under pressure, excellent attention to detail and the confidence and to take on the challenges of working in a high profile and political environment.
This is an entry-level position that would suit a recent graduate or someone looking to take the first step on a career in communications.
