Residential Property Manager

Salary range £37,987 to £45,824 per annum

Full time 36 hours

We are a forward-thinking local council, committed to providing high quality housing solutions for our residents. We have a wholly owned council housing company, Knowle Green Estates Ltd, which has a portfolio of properties. These properties provide affordable accommodation to residents. The company also owns a small number of private and keyworker properties.

The company is in the process of acquiring additional properties which will be used as Temporary Accommodation, and these properties will assist with addressing the housing need in the borough.

Due to the additional properties being acquired, we now require the expertise of an additional Property Manager. You will be working as part of the day-to-day operations of a high quality, customer centric service.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • A proven track record in delivery of property management for affordable housing, with a focus on maximising income, minimising voids, and providing a high level of customer service.
  • Drive, enthusiasm, and an ability to work at pace

For an informal chat about this post please contact Vicki Ellis, Principal Residential Property Manager, on 07768 043297 or email v.ellis@spelthorne.gov.uk

In return we can offer excellent conditions of service with a benefits package that includes flexible working hours, pension scheme, free car parking and at least 23 days’ paid leave per year. Essential user car allowance will also be paid.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for customer facing posts.  These posts fall within the scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.  The Council, therefore, has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. If you have any queries or would like to discuss this further, please contact Human Resources on 01784 444263.

Please note as part of the employment checks this post will subject to a basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
