HG Wells Conference & Events Centre is a modern purpose built venue based in the heart of Woking Town Centre. The venue has a selection of rooms catering from 6 - 800 guests in a wide range of formats. 

We are looking for a Receptionist to work with us part time, 23.5 hours per week, covering the following shift pattern:

1.00pm - 5.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

9.00am - 5.00pm Wednesday

By prior arrangement, additional hours may be agreed.

Reception is the meeting point for anyone attending an event at the centre and we require a customer service champion to join our team. You will need to be able to provide excellent customer care, clearly communicate with all members of public, work efficiently and have attention to detail in all tasks.  As part of the sales team, you will be required to offer administrative support to the sales team and General Manager when required.

The role includes:

  • Customer Service
  • Sales Calls
  • Database management
  • Assisting on events administration
  • Maintaining customer feedback
  • Carrying out customer research
  • Administration duties for the General Manager & Sales Manager
  • Website & Intranet editing
