We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work within a small, highly effective Notice Processing Team.

You will be proactive with the daily workload within the Parking Services back-office, ensuring a comprehensive and quality Notice and permit processing service is provided within the legislatively defined guidelines and deadlines. You will be required to address queries within the team and be able to communicate issues effectively with the Car Parks Manager.

You will be required to deal with parking and transport related enquiries by telephone, in person, by letter and electronic communication effectively. You will need to make important recommendations for Penalty Charge Notice ‘cancellation or write off’ following consideration of the evidence submitted by an appellant against the council’s evidence.

You will be expected to establish and maintain accurate and appropriate Notice and permit systems and produce standard computer reports or management information as required.

You will be computer literate and education to at least ‘GCSE’ standard or equivalent academic experience is desirable.

The work will require internal collaboration with the Principal Transport Planner. Experience in this field would be advantageous, however, the successful candidate will be given full training in all disciplines.
