Gardener
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Gardener working within our Castle Grounds.
You will be working ‘hands-on’ as on-site supervision with our team of grounds people too ensure the highest possible standards are maintained in all aspects of Guildford's Castle Grounds.
You will need a degree of physical fitness and an aptitude for working outdoors. Some knowledge and experience of horticulture, Sports pitch maintenance and supervision of a team is essential.
Working 41 hours a week in the Summer and 29 hours a week in the winter Monday to Friday, with the possibility of weekend work and early starts. Overtime shifts may also be available. A licence valid to drive in the UK in order to drive Council vehicles around sites is essential.
