Specialist - Revenues and Benefits
We are looking for a Council Tax or Revenues expert to join our specialist team. We need your help to maximise tax collection and recover outstanding debts.
If you have:
- Good knowledge of Council Tax legislation, and
- Experience of providing good customer service within a debt recovery context.
- Then this could be the role for you.
The role will sometimes be challenging. You will always be busy.
You will have the satisfaction of:
- Securing funds to provide public services, and
- Helping residents and colleagues along the way.
If you are not an experienced Court Officer, then we will provide on the job training to support you into this role. You will share the role with colleagues.
In exchange for your expertise and enthusiasm you:
- can split your time between the office and remote/homeworking,
- will receive an annual leave entitlement of 24 days,
- can access our flexible working and pension schemes,
- will have a pleasant office working environment near the town centre.
This role attracts a salary at Band 5 between £35,593- £41,110.
