About You
We would like to hear about your substantial post-qualification professional experience as a Social Worker and your experience of providing professional supervision.
In addition to the above, we would also love to hear about:
- Your understanding and experience of working in a strengths-based approach.
- Your knowledge and experience of current legislation such as The Care Act and The Mental Capacity Act.
- Your experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries and examples of you using your professional judgement in complex situations.
About the Role
We have two vacancies in our East Surrey Team (based in Leatherhead) and one in our West Surrey Team (based in Guildford). We are looking for competent Senior Social Workers to join our allocations team working with complex cases in order to meet their desired outcomes. This includes legal court work, partnership working with our health colleagues, completing Section 42 enquiries and supervising junior members of the team to ensure a high quality standard of service is provided.
We also have a vacancy in our Countywide Project Team (based in Woking). This team uniquely does not have a duty function but instead focuses on projects such as supporting people with a learning disability and/or Autism move into independent accommodation and optimising packages of care for the best outcomes for service users.
