About the role
We are looking for a full-time System Development & Monitoring Officer to join our Housing Benefits Team based at the Civic Centre in the heart of Addlestone’s regenerated town centre. Here you will become part of a team committed to driving improvement through innovative ideas using the latest technology and supporting residents to access council services.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Housing Benefit Technical Team including system implementations, government returns and quality assurance
About you
You will be working in a fast- paced and demanding environment, so it is important that you are well organised and resilient; can remain calm, focussed, and professional at all times.
We are looking for a flexible, well organised individual with an ability to learn complex legislation and experience of working with various IT systems. Previous knowledge of Housing Benefits is desirable but not essential. Good numerical reasoning skills, an ability to work under pressure and a willingness to collaborate with innovative working methods are all essential.
