About the role
Runnymede Borough Council is seeking a Housing Maintenance Inspector to work within the Housing Technical Service Team. This key role will act on behalf of the Council in overseeing day to day repairs and void management with our incumbent contractor. The role is pivotal to the delivery of service and satisfaction levels for our tenants, when engaging with the repairs service.
As part of this role, you will oversee the term contractor in the delivery of services, ensuring that works are undertaken within the agreed timescales, achieved to the right quality and that empty homes are turned around quickly, efficiently and to a safe and regulator standard. Local authority or Housing association background would be an advantage.
