We are looking for a self motivated and professional colleague to join our Grants and Home Improvement Agency Team. As a caseworker, you will work with residents from initial enquiry through to the completion of the work, creating a positive experience  as we strive to support them in their own homes. You will be responsible for providing advice and support to our elderly, disabled and vulnerable residents who need appropriate improvements and adaptations to their homes to allow them to live independently.

You will need to be an organised, practical person with the ability to manage competing workloads. Customer service and empathy will be required as you take customers through the process. An ability to communicate, manage expectations, remove any barriers, work with partner agencies and access available funding, are essential, to ensure all residents receive the best service.

Relevant experience is required of working in a customer focussed environment with disabled, elderly or vulnerable people. Experience of delivering Disabled Facilities Grants would be a distinct advantage.

You must have excellent communication skills, ability to work with minimum supervision and be highly IT literate.
