Access to Education Teacher
The salary for this role is based on the Teachers' Pay Scale TMS/UPS (£29,344 - £44,919 per annum) plus £2,384 SEN Allowance per annum. This role covers the north-east Surrey area with the office currently based in Esher. This is a full-time position, however part-time hours can be discussed.
Surrey County Council's Access to Education Service provides individual and small group teaching to students who are out of school. We provide education for students aged 5-16, many of whom have complex SEN needs and/or challenging behaviour.
We are now looking for an experienced and creative primary or secondary Teacher to join us. This is a challenging, but genuinely rewarding role, where you can have a direct impact on the learning outcomes of some of Surrey's most vulnerable learners.

If you are a qualified Teacher with substantial experience of working with vulnerable children and young people and have excellent IT skills (with some knowledge of using a Virtual Learning Environment) we would love to hear from you. Please note, experience of teaching a range of complex SEND is essential and must be clearly demonstrated in your application.
This position covers the north-east Surrey area and will require extensive travel around Epsom and Ewell, Spelthorne and Elmbridge. It is essential that you have a full driving licence and the use of a car.
