Working as part of our Environmental Services Team, you will help our households maximise recycling in Waverley and oversee work undertaken by our waste and street cleaning contractors, ensuring we provide excellent services to our residents. You will also undertake regulation and enforcement activity to reduce the incidence of environmental crime, taking action against those responsible for fly tipping, littering and dog fouling in addition to investigating related queries such as abandoned vehicles. You will be issuing fixed penalty notices, collecting evidence, and preparing cases for further legal action, whilst at the same time working with partners and community groups; all sending a clear message that Waverley is serious about protecting our environment for the benefit of everyone who lives, works and visits the Borough.

You will need great people skills, real enthusiasm for making a difference and a determination to protect and improve our environment. In return, Waverley will provide a great working environment and excellent development opportunities.
