Arts Development Officer
About the Role
This role has been developed with East Surrey Place (Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System) partners, in partnership with Reigate and Banstead Borough Council. The aim of the role is to work together to deliver targeted support for residents across East Surrey Place to improve their wellbeing and reduce their need for health, social care or other public/voluntary sector support. It will enable the local health system to maintain and improve wellbeing support and improve social connections between individuals within their communities.
The Arts Development Officer role sits within the Leisure Service and is responsible for developing and increasing opportunities for people to engage and participate in the arts. This will encourage collaborations, providing expert advice and securing external arts funding.
The role will be responsible for facilitating new creative and artistic opportunities for the borough, playing a key role in building our arts sector whilst working closely with our Leisure and Culture team to deliver the newly appointed Leisure and Culture Strategy.
